EIP Seeks Stronger Air Pollution Permit at BP's Troubled Texas City  (south of Houston) Refinery

EIP’s formal comments, filed on behalf of Houston Ship Channel area residents, details major flaws in BP’s application for an air pollution permit for the company’s Texas City Refinery.  BP’s air permit application fails to correct problems with its illegal Texas “Flexible Permit,” and also fails to require the pollution monitoring needed to protect surrounding neighborhoods.
