Complaint Filed Against American Electric Power, 3-10-05
In response to an investigation by the Environmental Integrity Project of claims made by an AEP whistleblower, the Lone Star chapter of the Sierra club and Texas Public citizen have filed a complaint against American Electric Power alleging particulate matter and carbon monoxide emissions from their Welsh plant in Texas that greatly exceed current levels allowed under the Clean Air Act.
