Community Outreach

EIP has worked with grassroots organizations to draw attention to failures in the enforcement of environmental laws.  EIP has been able to use those examples to work for positive change at the local level while drawing attention to the failure of environmental enforcement on a broader scale.  EIP is currently assisting communities in Iowa, Texas, Ohio and Pennsylvania get federal and state regulators to focus on  local environmental violations.  As a general matter, EIP does not provide direct legal representation in lawsuits against individual companies.
